Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in chhattisgarh and was built in 1962. It is situated in Sector-6,Bhilai. It's also known as 'Masjid-i-Jahan Numa', 'Jahan' means 'World' and Numa means 'Visible'. Its courtyard has a capacity to hold nearly 4000 worshippers.jama masjid is made in such a way that ALLAH can be seen on its sculpture and was basically designed by Ustad Usmaan Khan Sahab from hyderabad.
Masid is a place,where entry of any women is strictly prohibited.many of my friends have asked me why womens not allowed,so here is their all answers. Islam permits women to pray in mosques. Ladies should have separate and equal facilities. Islam does not permit the inter mingling of sexes. Otherwise, there will be a similar scene in mosques like other places where some people even come for ‘bird-watching’ and eve teasing.
Imam is the one who leads the prayer during Islamic gatherings and the imam of jama masjid is an elderly person,who must be visited once if you are suffering from any disease any something else.Apart from medicines,duwa(prasing) is also neccesary and in any such conditions imam must be visited to seek his blessings.
i agree dat intermingling of sexes is strictly prohibited by islam religion ... but when it comes to the topic of eve-teasing then y men n women do tawaaf together in haj??? if shaitaan can misguide a worshipper in mosque then he can misguide him in haj also... it depends on an individual how his heart is pure related 2 his religion... n if he is performing his duty 2wards islaam den he shud b vry sincere 4 the same...
